1. Obtain an NRCS Contract (form AD-1155 or AD-1156). Producers, please ensure you have a contract from NRCS for your desired practice. This contract is the NRCS form AD-1155 or AD-1156, which will show the cost-share prices for each conservation practice.
2. Contact Steward Engineering for assistance with NRCS-compliant plans or designs. Remember, Technical Service Providers (TSP) offer expertise and experience in submitting plans and designs found on your AD-1155/1156 to NRCS for approval.
3. Agree to a Scope Of Work and Deposit. Steward Engineering will outline the work to be completed for the design(s) or plan(s). A typical deposit of $500-$1,000 will be required to initiate the work.
4. Steward Engineering Gets the Job Done! We collaborate with you to conduct a site visit and gather all necessary information to complete the design(s) or plan(s). Our team works on the engineering details while you remain actively engaged on your farm.
5. Submission to NRCS and Final Invoice. Steward Engineering will ensure your plan(s) or design(s) are accurately submitted to the appropriate NRCS offices and personnel to expedite final approval on your behalf. Following submission, you will receive a final invoice for the completed AD-1155 or AD-1156 practice cost-share amount (minus your deposit). Our warranty on all work helps ensure your peace of mind.
